It is with deep sorrow that we must bid a farewell to Frankie Manning, one of the original Lindy Hop dancers and the inventor of the "air step". In memory of Mr. Manning who passed away Monday April 27th, we will continue on as he would have wished, going forward with our original schedule that included a Pre-Dance workshop called Fun Stuff “Frankie Manning Style”. I have asked additional teachers to join us and showcase their favorite steps of his in this first of two workshops in the afternoon. And Carol Fraser will also feature something Frankie style in our evening workshop. We hope you consider joining us for all of them.
